Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Today I saw 6 dogs walking at once. Will my dog have room to walk?
A: Never! I don't believe in pack walks and refuse to walk more than 1 dog at a time.
Q: Are you insured?
A:Yes, I am fully bonded and insured through Pet Sitters Associates LLC.
Q: Will different walkers come into my home that I haven't met?
A: No way! I'm the only walker that will come into your home or ever walk your dog.
Q: When do I pay and do you accept cash or venmo?
A: Payment is due at the end of every week. I usually send out a venmo request on Friday afternoons.
Q: What do you do in the rain and snow? Will you still walk my dog?
A: Of course! The weather does not get in my way! No matter how cold or wet it may be your dog will still be walked as usual! All I ask of you is to please leave out a towel so I can dry your dog off really well before letting them in the house!
Q: How will I know if my dog went to the bathroom?
A: I leave a note after every walk so you can stay informed about your dog while you are away, some clients even prefer a "daily text" as well.
Q: Sometimes I get stuck in a late meeting or traffic, are you able to feed and or walk my dog at the last minute?
A: I live right off the 1 train uptown so it's pretty easy for me to be in the neighborhood within 30 minutes! I offer last minute "emergency walks" so you never have to worry!
Q: What areas of NYC do you cover?
A: I cover most areas in Battery Park and Tribeca.
Q: There are many dog walkers to choose from, why should I choose you?
A: There are a few things that separate me from other dog walkers. First, I do not approve of "pack walks". Pack walks are when you see 4+ dogs being walked by 1 person. Many walkers do this so they can make more money per hour. I however care more for the safety of my dogs and their happiness. I don't waste my dog's time by making them wait outside every five minutes to gather other dogs (which is often the case in pack walks) nor do I tie dogs up outside (you never know what could happen when unsupervised!). Your dogs safety is my number one concern. Limiting the amount of dogs walked at once I am able to do more with your dog and make our walks together more personal.
Q: My dog is on medication, will you give him his pill after his walk?
A: After every walk I make sure your dog's water bowl is full and will give any medication needed. For dog's who are crated after walks I first allow them time to drink water if they're thirsty from our fun time outside.
Q: You sound perfect for my dog! How and when can we start?
A: Please e-mail or call me and if I don't answer immediately I can assure you I will return all e-mails and phone messages asap! After meeting you and getting to know your dog we are good to go!
